Sure, 2010 isn't even cold in its grave yet, but it's time to start talking about 2011 -- the year of the PlayStation. That's right, Sony's year is stacked with an alarming amount of exclusives that are sure to make its competition shake. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2 -- and the list goes on without including multiplatform games.

Boom.

With all that greatness on the horizon, we at IGN thought it was only right to sit down and prognosticate on what games were going to be the best of the best when we're 365 days from right now. That's right, we're ranking 2011's best before we even review one of them. We're churning out a speculation piece on what's going to rock based on very little info, and believe it or not, this led to some heated discussions in the office.

Now, put down your pitchfork and stop drafting your "O go 2 hellz iGN!!1!" comments. We're not writing any games off and we're not saying these are for sure going to be the best of the best. We're just talking shop and taking a stab at what 2011 is going to bring. Some games are on here and could go higher, but we haven't seen much about them. Some games are on here and are pretty high because we've seen so much of them. And other games aren't on the list -- MotorStorm: Apocalypse, DC Universe Online, and so on -- because we just didn't have room when the votes were counted.
